Welcome to the Year 6 Class Page

This year in class we have Mrs Ainge, Mr Galvin, Mrs Cliffe, Miss Bonser and Mrs Mower.

PE is on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Please send your child in wearing the school PE kit on these days.

We will work towards taking the Year 6 SATs in May 2022 in Reading, Writing and Maths. It will be hard work, but will be definitely worth it, especially for moving up to secondary school. To help with this we will focus on what it is to be an active learner and doing the right things to help us become good people with ambition to do well in our lives.

Homework is set every Friday to be completed in the green homework books and returned by the following Wednesday. If you have any questions about it, please let one of the adults in class know either on the Monday or Tuesday.

In addition to the homework, we expect everyone in our class to read at least 10 minutes every day. This should be logged in the Reading Record with a signature from a parent or guardian.
